"Without education, you're not going anywhere in this world."

"Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today."

"America has a very serious problem. Not only does America have a very serious problem, but our people have a very serious problem. America's problem is us. We're her problem. The only reason she has a problem is she doesn't want us here."

Have you ever been to the Malcom X birthsite? I have... I make sure to drive past it everytime I work Habitat for Humanity.

From
http://travel.yahoo.com/p-travelguide-2829851-malcolm_x_birthsite_omaha-i:

"Malcolm X, originally known as Malcolm Little, was born in Omaha in 1925 and is known as a civil rights leader. The birth site includes more than 10 acres of land and commemorates the contributions this international leader has made. Although most of the property still needs development, there is currently a historical marker noting his birthplace. Eventually, the site will be developed to showcase articles and memorabilia from this civil rights leader's life."

Right now... there's nothing. Just a place where the neihborhood people dump garbage.

From
http://www.wcities.com/en/record/,228667/323/record.html:

"A historical marker points out the birth site of African American activist Malcolm X. His family left Omaha in the 1920s. Decades later, community leaders launched a crusade for this memorial, which appears on the National Register of Historic Places. His home no longer exists; however, a marker stands on land at his former address. Although there really is not much to see, history buffs will find this memorial site in North Omaha a nice side trip. Admission is free."

Yeah, admission is free cause there's nothing fucking there...

From

"The state of Nebraska has honored Malcolm X by erecting an official marker on the site of his birth. The 12-acre developing site is open to the public."

How fucking generous of the state of Nebraska to "honor" some one by putting up a god damn sign.

Some of the guides out there don't even get the god damn address right.

I know he's not MLK Jr. but for fucks sake this is history damn it...

Where the fuck are my Rage CDs?
